Qld: Paul Lucas admitted to hospital

Queensland's deputy premier PAUL LUCAS has been taken to hospital after fainting while
moving furniture.

A spokesman for Mr LUCAS says he was admitted to the Mater Private Hospital for routine
tests after fainting this afternoon.

He says Mr LUCAS is fine and the Queensland Ambulance Service has advised his vital
signs are normal.

The 46-year-old deputy premier was on leave .. and will remain on leave until the end
of the month.
