EAST GREENBUSH PLANNING BOARD
June 28, 1995 Action items:Public hearing held to discuss the application of Donald S. and Nancy J. Macintyre to create a two-lot subdivision. It would be on Miller Road. No representatives appeared for the couple and there were no arguments against the proposal. The board moved to approve with a vote of 5-1-1 (five yes votes, one no vote and one abstention). EAST GREENBUSH SCHOOL BOARD June 28, 1995 Action Items:Approved two part-time teachers for the 1995-'96 school year, 19 coaching positions for the fall season and 17 summer school positions. Accepted the retirements of Lila Berkeley, Beatrice Grant, Paul Liuzzi, Marilyn Nopper and the resignation of Linda Kaminski. Appointed two substitutes for the 1995-96 school year and a summer school typist. Also appointed 16 students to work for the six-week summer school program. Approved the programs for 53 resident children with disabilities. Accepted gifts in the amounts ranging from $15.75 to $1,816.60 and authorizeduse of them to provide the transportation for more than 10 of the end-of-the-year student field trips. To date $39,259.54 has been donated. Voted to renew the district's lease of 673 Columbia Turnpike for the period of Aug. 15, 1996, to Aug. 15, 1998. Adopted the 1995 Summer Driver Education Program providing the students with the state-required 48 hours of instruction.
