Qld: Police locate missing baby, teenager charged

A baby abducted from his parent's home at Ipswich has been found safe and well.

The baby, four-month old JONATHAN DANIEL LOZA, disappeared from his home in the Ipswich
suburb of Silkstone about 10.30pm (AEST) on Friday.

Police began searching for a girl -- believed to have been a babysitter -- after a
pram, baby clothes and baby food were also taken from the house.

Police said they were concerned for JONATHAN'S welfare after revealing he suffered
from severe asthma and a chest condition requiring surgical treatment.

They say the baby was found today at a house in Riverview and was in good condition.

He was taken to the Ipswich Hospital where doctors gave the baby the all clear to be
reunited with his parents.

Police say a 17-year-old girl has been charged with the abduction of a child under
16 and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
